She’s definitely one of the most well-loved housemates of Pinoy Big Brother Connect, so it was not surprising when Andrea Abaya was named the Second Big Placer. And now that she’s treading in the outside world, her avid supporters couldn’t help but wonder what’s in store for her as she stars her journey in the showbiz industry.
And in her recent virtual guesting in FYE Channel’s KUMU STAR KA, she enthusiastically imparted to host Papa Ahwel Paz and viewers the things that have been keeping her busy nowadays.
“Well now, after na makalabas ako sa bahay ni Kuya I started doing livestream, twice a week akong nagli-livestream dito sa KUMU – “Cheer Me Out with Andi Abaya.” And I also do covers sa YouTube para mas ma-practice ‘yong skills ko sa pagkanta. And I got opportunities din after kong lumabas sa Bahay ni Kuya. I was able to be a part and be cast sa isang pelikula. And recently naging part din ako ng Squad Plus. So far, ‘yon ang mga naging opportunities ko after ko lumabas sa bahay ni Kuya,” she disclosed.
Since she’s very much passionate as an artist, she’s very much willing to undergo auditions, VTRs, go-sees and make sure to really give her all and her best. With all the opportunities that are coming into her, she wishes for the blessings to continue flowing to her.
“Of course, at the same time, patuloy pa rin akong nagpra-pray kay God kasi Siya naman talaga ‘yong isa sa mga tumulong sa’kin nang sobrang laki para umbaot ako nang matagal sa loob ng Bahay ni Kuya. Kaya patuloy pa rin akong nagpra-pray sa Kanya para tulungan Niya ako, para i-guide Niya ako na magpakatatag na maging dedicated pa rin at pursigido dito sa journey ko in the outside world,” she added.
Prior to becoming a housemate, “The Cheerdance Sweetheart of Parañaque City” her fans already knew that she’s already a highflyer since she was a varsity cheerleader in De La Salle University and has appeared in several commercials on television. Thus, we won’t be surprised anymore if she’s going to be one of the brightest stars in the industry someday!
