Like how Rommel Padilla put it, the evil will never succeed because the good will always prevail in the story. And this could be the reason why he and Joross Gamboa's characters were killed off in FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.
Baldo (Rommel) and Tanggol (Joross) finally faced their death in the narrative during the February 8 Friday episode. Along with the sudden demise of their characters, the two actors bade farewell to the show as well.
As he bids us farewell, the Padilla scion expressed how honored he is of the opportunity of playing his character. Even though we witnessed how gruesome his character’s death has been, he said that being killed by the one and only Lito Lapid on his death scene in this show is one historic event in his life. If given the chance, he revealed that it will be his greatest pleasure to work with the Primetime King Coco Martin again in another project.
On the other hand, Joross is happy that the townspeople finally got their revenge against his evil character in the story. Although it seems impossible to be a reality, he somehow wishes that his character will have an unknown strait-laced twin brother so he can come back as a good person in the story.
Along with the overflowing gratitude their heart feels, both Rommel and Joross shared how much they will miss being part of the cast of one of the country’s top-rating and longest running action drama series on primetime. Together, they also advise the viewers not to miss the upcoming episodes and prepare for the surprising twists.
