After the Vendetta has knocked down all the rebels running after them, it is now time to face the villains’ leaders. Cardo (Coco Martin) chases Tanggol (Joross Gamboa) who tries to hit him with a rifle. He is able to block Tanggol’s moves and begins burying him in brutal punches.
Cardo attacks with a powerful streak of blows aimed at Tanggol’s face and his upper body. The rebel tries to strike back but is already weak enough to defend himself. Cardo releases another sequence of exploding jabs. Tanggol is already drowning in blood. Cardo’s balled fist collides with Tanggol’s face for the last time; causing the evil man to fall over a wooden table.
Tanggol feels the gush of pain brought by Cardo’s fuming anger and strength. Aching and gasping for breath, he runs out of energy to get back up.
The residents of Sto. Nino plead Cardo to allow them finish everything. They all run towards Tanggol and beat him up to death.
Romulo and Baldo (Rommel Padilla) roll over the hills and plunges down in the shallow waves of the river. Romulo picks his opponent up who luckily blocks his moves. The Vendetta’s leader pulls a gun but Baldo is quick enough to shoot his right leg out; causing the revolver to drop on the waters.
Romulo seems winning the fight when Baldo falls down the muddy soil. Yet, Baldo takes one of the bamboos scattered around. He uses it to hit Romulo’s; leading him to stumble and run out of balance. Baldo lands a dangerous whip hitting Romulo’s facial bones.
Romulo drops to the ground with blood leaking all over his face. He struggles getting up as Baldo rushes towards him; ready to finish the fight with his weapon.
Baldo attempts to strike Romulo with the wood but the latter tries his best to avoid the attacks. Romulo shots a powerful kick; making his enemy loose composure. He stands up in defense but Baldo begins punching him.
With just one block, Romulo takes defense. However, Baldo gets a sharp knife and tries to use it to put Romulo to death.
Like his moniker, “Leon”, Romulo attacks aggressively. He lets his balled fists fly towards Baldo; smashing the opponent with back and forth swings. He grasps Baldo and flips him over; causing the rebel to hit the rocks at the bottom of the waters. Romulo jumps over the other fighter; but Baldo raises his leg and slams it into Romulo’s chest.
The two stand up and continue the fight. Baldo wounded Romulo with stabs in his right and left arms. Romulo is lying on his back when Baldo tries to rip his throat with the knife.
Romulo resists by holding on to the blade. The knife’s pointed end is less just an inch from his skin. Relaxing his arms for just a split second will definitely put him to death. Despite the gushing blood and wounds in his hands, Romulo continues gripping unto the blade and endures everything. Romulo lands his leg into Baldo’s body; sending the rebel into the opposite direction.
Baldo looks at the revolver near him. Romulo quickly moves to take a bamboo as he reads the other man’s thoughts.
Running out of strength, the villain slowly lifts the gun and points it towards Romulo. But even before the trigger is pulled, Romulo swiftly throws the wood; hitting Baldo in the gut and killing him.
Meanwhile, just after killing Baldo, Romulo he sees a few other rebels approaching from behind.
