Even before Margie (Carmi Martin) seeks for legal assistance and testify against Brandon Cabrera (Mark Anthony Fernandez) for killing Mayor Adonis Dimagiba (Mark Anthony Fernandez), a black propaganda about the mayor’s death begin to circulate in all forms of media. The Cabrera administration threatened and forcefully asked one government official, Councilor Molina, to claim Dimagiba’s murder.
Margie attends the oath taking of Dimagiba’s successor who vows to bury the late mayor’s alleged corruption acts in the past. He also puts Dimagiba’s name in a deeper shame as he rubs in how Dimagiba acted only for himself and not for the welfare of the community.
These fake and disgraceful stories about her good friend have ignited Margie’s emotions. She becomes more frustrated and hurt. Not able to contain her feelings, she boldly defends Dimagiba in front of the press people and everyone around. She says all the controversies being thrown at Dimagiba are false accusations. She adds that everyone must never be stopped in telling the truth no matter when and where they choose to speak up.
In fuming anger, Margie walks on the stage and takes the microphone. Drowning in rage, Margie bravely discloses the information that she has been keeping since Dimagiba’s death. “Ako mismo ang nakakita ng tao na pumatay kay Mayor Adonis. Kitang-kita ng mga mata ko na pinagbabaril siya, at ang taong pumatay ay walang iba kundi si Brandon Cabrera!” Margie announces.
After releasing her sentiments, Margie is also surprised with what she has done. A group of reporters rush towards her for an ambush interview but Margie no longer wants to comment.
