While Cardo (Coco Martin) and Alyana (Yassi Pressman) talk to each other in one corner, the rest of the Vendetta shares a conversation about Homer (Jhong Hilario) and Lucas Cabrera (Edu Manzano).
Oscar (Rowell Santiago) gets furious and surprised as he finds out that Renato Hipolito (John Arcilla) is connected to the series of bombing incidents in the city. Connecting the dots, the Vendetta concludes that Lucas may be the one manipulating all these schemes rooted from his greed for power and wealth. They believe that Lucas is also the head of the illegal mining site that Homer’s group was talking about.
Meanwhile, at the palace, Lucas discovers that the captives were able to flee. Brandon (Mark Anthony Fernandez) defends his men and promises to look for the hostages. However, Lucas already runs out of patience for Brandon’s failures.
Lucas looks at the possibility of the hostages speaking up in public and disclosing what the administration has done to them. Despite this, Lucas vows to never surrender the Presidential seat. “Gagawin ko ang lahat para mawala ang mga kalaban. Ako lang ang uupo dito habambuhay”, Lucas warns.
