Romulo (Lito Lapid) faces Baldo (Rommel Padilla) in an intense battle of physical strength. They bury one another in power punches and kicks. Both fighters are determined to win against each other; being able to take defense after the other fighter’s aggressive moves. Romulo almost lost when Baldo takes a knife, and wounded the Vendetta leader with stabs in his right and left arms. Romulo is lying on his back when Baldo tries to rip his throat with the weapon.
Romulo resists by holding on to the blade. Despite the gushing blood and wounds in his hands He continues gripping unto the blade and endures everything. Romulo lands his leg into Baldo’s body; sending the rebel into the opposite direction.
Baldo looks at the gun near him. Romulo quickly moves to take a piece of bamboo as he reads the other man’s thoughts.
With the few strength left in him, the villain slowly lifts the revolver and points it towards Romulo. But even before the trigger is pulled, Romulo has swiftly throws the wood; hitting Baldo in the gut and wiping out his existence.
Meanwhile, Romulo sees few other rebels approaching from behind. The opponents start shooting him as he runs towards Baldo’s lifeless body to take the gun still rested on its hands. Romulo luckily avoids the gunshots fired at him. He jumps, picks the revolver, and fires at the opponents; killing them all.
The residents of Sto.Nino and other Vendettas led by Cardo (Coco Martin) approach the river and see Romulo running out of breath. Cardo looks at Baldo’s corpse and notices his horrible death. He gets worried upon seeing Romulo’s wounds. Just like his moniker, “Leon”, Romulo wouldn’t want to surrender and is still ready to fight.
The Vendetta and residents of Santo Nino move fast to escape and leave the town. As they run in the hills, they encounter clusters of enemies and put them all to death.
