Amidst all the action, Cardo and the rest of FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano family managed to take some time off and drop by the industry’s biggest night! Walking down the red carpet might not have been as adrenaline pumping as their fight scenes, but fans were still glad to see them. The best part is that only a week ago, they were celebrating three years on air. So, they definitely deserved to let loose.
It has been two years now, since we last saw Bela Padilla on the show, but she will always be Carmen in our hearts. And in a lavender gown that had a daring slit and layers upon layers, she was just as lovely as we last saw her. The former First and Second ladies both looked radiant. Alice Dixson in a white piece and Dawn Zulueta in a blue dress with silver palm leaves. They proved that there is beauty in simplicity. Two women who seem to agree with them are Agot Isidro who came in a blue and black ensemble, and Matet de Leon who wore a beaded black gown that had a giant bow. Even the Queen of Philippine Cinema, Susan Roces was also preferred being effortlessly elegant in black.
Another cast member that made heads turn was Donna Cariaga. In a blue number with gold art details, she looked like a warrior queen. How could you miss Sue Ramirez? Every time she moved, the fringe danced gracefully around her. Carmi Martin shocked everyone in her royal blue off shoulder gown. And walking with Roderick Paulate gave us nostalgic of Dick and Carmi. Yassi Pressman, the actress we were all waiting for did not disappoint. Like a true leading lady, she was a vision in red and looked fresh all thanks to the spaghetti straps and beach waves.
Of course, the men were also in on the fun. Usually, you would see them carrying guns on-screen, but for this Ball with a cause, the only thing they brought was a sense of fashion. Albert Martinez was a silver fox in black with a red belt for a pop of color.
Jeric Raval was giving matrix vibes with his leather on leather. From his cowboy boots to the gloves and bolo tie. Pepe Herrera bravely wore a geometric patterned suit jacket. While Rowell Santiago, John Arcilla, Edu Manzano, John Prats, JC Santos, McCoy de Leon and Nonong Ballinan all looked dapper in their classic suits.
Finally, the man of the hour, Coco Martin made his entrance with some of his allies from Vendetta. Mark Lapid looked clean and sophisticated. On the other hand, Michael de Mesa was suave in a white suit jacket. Bianca Manalo was almost unrecognizable in long ponytail and even longer slit. And Coco was simply every bit of what a leading man should look like.
