With that, let us look back at some of their simple yet treasured happy moments of Cardo and the Vendetta that enthralled us all.
1. Cardo and Alyana’s Wedding
After courting Alyana (Yassi Pressman) again, Cardo finally gets his wife’s yes to get married once more. Even though they know that their renewal of vows doesn’t promise more peaceful and happier days, Cardo and Alyana chose to continue to face the war that they are in together.
2. Vendetta’s Stroll in the Town of Sto. Nino
Finding a second home in the town of Sto. Nino, the Vendetta explored the place even for just a short time. On a day when there are no conflicts and they don’t have much to do, all of them decided to go for a little walk and have fun amidst the beautiful scenery that surrounds them.
3. Vendetta’s Playtime with the Kids
Awakening the childlike spirit in them, the Vendetta gets into some playtime with the kids that they saved and fostered. Having a fair play of street games like ‘patintero’, ‘habulan’, etc., their group taught the kids how to aim for a healthy active life, build camaraderie with other people, and embrace the value of sportsmanship.
4. Vendetta as the Town’s Watchmen
Although they still are fighting a big battle, the Vendetta knew that making small advances helps in the completion of their complicated mission. When they saw the need, they didn’t hesitate to be the watchmen of the town of Sto. Nino. And being successful on their first day of duty as tanods, the Vendetta valued it as an achievement and celebrated it together.
5. Vendetta’s Christmas Carol with the Kids
Valuing the Christmas season, the Vendetta agreed to join the kids they saved and fostered in their Christmas carolling activity. Aside from having fun with them, the Vendetta has made happy memories with the kids in doing simple yet important things like these.
6. Diana and Romulo’s Engagement
Knowing that they found precious love with each other, Romulo (Lito Lapid) and Diana (Angel Aquino) got engaged. As witnesses and contributors in their love story, the Vendetta and their friends in the town of Sto. Nino celebrated and promised to help in their upcoming wedding ceremony.
7. Vendetta’s Freedom
With evidence proving their innocence and a presidential pardon granted, the case against Vendetta was finally dismissed. Gaining their freedom back, the Vendetta celebrated even though Renato Hipolito (John Arcilla) and his group are still out there to try and overpower them.
8. President Oscar’s Visit
Celebrating a victorious moment, President Oscar (Rowell Santiago) visits his friends, the Vendetta in their home. They discussed their big plans as they help each other move forward in the good and favourable situation that they achieved in the moment.
No matter how big of how simple it is, the Vendetta considered every victory as a blessing. And even in the most simple or ordinary day, they continue to strive in finding happiness and peace. Despite the many challenges in their lives, they continue to hope and hang on to those wonderful moments and use them as an inspiration to fight every battle.
