We already had some of our young Kapamilya actors like Edward Barber, Donny Pangilinan and Robi Domingo featured in “Checkpoint” playing Mobile Legends. And in this episode, we will feature another passionate Mobile Legends celebrity gamer, Jimuel Pacquiao.
At the start, Jimuel only played the classic mode, which is not actually a rank game. This means the mode still has a 5 vs 5 scheme but your rank won’t actually be affected in case you lose. However, any setback would have an effect on your win rate.
Jimuel decided to play the classic mode because he had a bad losing streak in his rank game the day before. He shared he’s actually been playing Mobile Legends for two years now and said that his cousins were the ones who influenced him to play.
Jimuel shared he would always notice his cousins being very hyped every time they compete in Mobile Legends so he thought it would be fun to join them. He actually admitted he misses playing with his cousins because it had really been full of fun moments. Right now, his rank is Epic 3 and in this game, he used the hero Esmeralda, which is a tank or a mage. He said his role in the game would always be a tank, a fighter, or a mage.
Jimuel’s tip for those who also play Mobile Legends is that the players in the team should learn how to do rotation so that they won’t scramble over farming or over the lanes. Although a very enthusiastic gamer, Jimuel also came to the point where he wanted to quit playing Mobile Legends because of a losing streak when he almost advanced to the Legend rank.
The son of Senator Manny Pacquiao admitted that during those times, Mobile Legends really took a lot of his time, but now, he has learned how to manage his time properly and to actually give time to his other priorities.
