Playing the dependable guy friend who has special feelings for his girl best friend, for sure, many can relate with Stephen Tanhueco, the character impressively portrayed by D’ Total Performer Darren Espanto in the well-loved series Can’t Buy Me Love.

And just like in the well-loved series, Darren has nothing but love for Belle Mariano, who portrays Caroline Tiu, in real life. And we’re able to see it in this exclusive video, wherein he shared three endearing things about her that truly impresses him.

He started off by sharing that he’s astounded by how she is able to get into her character easily and break out of it immediately as she chats with them as soon as she’s done with her take as if nothing happened. Her experience as a child actress, he thinks, could be the reason why she has become such a good actress. 

The second thing that he admires about Belle is how caring she is towards everyone in the set. He described her as, “Parang nanay minsan sa set. Not the motherly type, but maalaga sa lahat ng kasama sa standby area.”

And lastly, he revealed that she cannot go to taping without a blanket and a pillow, which are among her work must-haves along with her taping chair.
