The ‘kilig’ is real in the newest trending Kapamilya series “Can’t Buy Me Love,” and so is the off-cam bond among the cast members.

While we can’t get in their happy bubble, we can always rely on the actor’s generous kwento about what really happens on the set when the cameras are not rolling. Kapamilya Chat tapped Joao Constancia to reveal some exciting, intriguing behind-the-scenes happenings from the beloved DonBelle series by taking on the “Bukingan” Challenge.

Asked to name the cast member “na mahilig manlibre,” he mentioned that Darren Espanto treated him to lunch one time. Darren is also that one co-star who brings too much stuff, “At least kung may kailangan ka, hihingi ka lang sa kanya,” he quipped. He named Darren as the co-star “na madaling matawa” as well.

For Joao, acting with his close friends has its pros and cons, “It works both ways. It’s easier kasi friends na kayo, wala na kayong barrier do’n. Pero at the same time, pagdating sa seryosong eksena, ‘pag kilala mo ‘yung tropa mo who likes to make you laugh or make fun of you, ang hirap talaga pagdating sa mga serious na eksena.” But,so far, this hasn’t been a problem on set.

Asked who stutters a lot during takes, he says none, as everyone arrives on set prepared.  This inspires him to also give his best in every scene.

He revealed that Albie Casiño is the sleepyhead of the group.

Joao is so fascinated with his on-screen mom Ruffa Gutierrez’s bubbly attitude, thus she is his constant source of laughter, “Ang dami niyang kwento. At ang kulit niya lang magkwento.” She’s also that co-star whom he got starstruck with, given her stunning beauty and pleasant personality. He remembers seeing her for the first time at their photoshoot. He introduced himself and, in an instant, saw Ruffa’s bubbly side, proving what he heard about the seasoned actress to be true.

Lastly, the cast member “na mahilig mangulit sa waiting area” is none other than Belle Mariano. “She likes being with people she knows. Palagi siyang naghahanap ng kakwentuhan.” Joao says that Belle hasn’t changed since their “He’s Into Her” days in that she’s remained so bubbly and she still likes to visit her friends’ dressing rooms to chat.
