Bridges in movies or on TV help set the mood, as in the primetime series, the bridge symbolizes a brother’s love like that of Gael to Carlos and also a meeting of two hearts, like Gael’s and Mia’s. Here’s a list of some movies shot using bridges that connect one character to the other.
1. Relaks It’s Just Pag-ibig

Relaks It’s Just Pag-ibig is 2014 romantic-comedy film shot in Leyte with the famous San Juanico bridge as their backdrop.
The story of
Relaks, It's Just Pag-Ibig revolves around a 16-year old girl named Sari (Sofia Andres) who picked up a love letter written by a man named Elias, dedicated to a woman named Salome. Sari wanted to meet the two under the blue moon in a beach in Leyte. She dragged Josh (Iñigo Pascual), a non-believer in love, in her journey, and also her best friend Kiko (Julian Estrada), who is secretly in love with her.
2. Bulong
Bulong is a comedy-horror film starring Vhong Navarro and Angelica Panganiban. One of the movie’s scenes used the prominent Tigbao Hanging Bridge in Bohol as their setting.
The film is about a myth where a person whispers his deepest desire to a dead body and the spirit of the dead will help one achieve it. The lead character, Conan, asks his friend Oprah for help after a spirit haunts him. They travel to Oprah’s province in Bohol to find a solution.
3. Catch Me I’m In Love
Catch Me I’m In Love is the first movie team up of Sarah Geronimo and Gerald Anderson. Shot in Cauayan, Isabela, this film used a hanging bridge as one of their backgrounds.
The movie is about Roanne Sanchez, a simple and idealistic girl, who is assigned to accompany Eric Rodriguez, the son of the company president, as he goes on an immersion trip.
4. Forever and A Day
The KC Concepcion and Sam Milby starrer,
Forever and A Day, used Dahilayan Adventure Park’s attractions as it’s setting.
Forever and A Day begins with the story of Eugene (Sam Milby), who spends time on Bukidnon to forget his problems at work. But when he meets Raffy (KC Concepcion) and as they travel and go on ridiculous and death-defying activities together, they start to form a friendship that goes beyond Eugene’s original plan.
4. This Guy’s In Love With U Mare
This Guy’s In Love With U Mare is comedy film starring Vice Ganda, Toni Gonzaga and Luis Manzano. This 2012 film shot scenes at the Ayala bridge where Vice Ganda and Gonzaga’s character attempted to jump.
After three years, Mike (Luis) decided to end his relationship with his gay lover, Lester (Vice). Lester later learns that Mike has been cheating on him with a bank accountant named Gemma (Toni). He comes up with revenge, by acting like a man and steals Gina from Mike. Later, Gemma discovers Mike and Lester’s former relationship and says she will jump off the bridge.
