Direk Ted Boborol shares the secret behind “Be My Lady’s” success

More than 2 weeks ago, the cast and crew of the morning series “Be My Lady” received the good news the show is extended until October 2015.

Aside from the extension, the series also achieved a lot of recognition such as Daniel Matsunaga and Erich Gonzales being hailed as the Daytime Prince and Princess respectively and the children’s song “Tatlong Bibe” which they used on the show has gone viral. BML also took the no. 1 spot in the most watched daytime shows according to Kantar Media’s ratings report on their June 9 episode.

On “Tatlong Bibe” becoming an internet craze, BML director Theodore Boborol didn’t expect that the song would go viral.

With all of the recognition that they are receiving, everyone who is part of BML are very grateful. During the set visit that was held in Arayat, Pampanga last Friday, June 9, reporters learned the secret to the show’s success.

I think yun ang first,” he explained.

“Pangalawa, napaka-positive, inspirational ng show na all Filipino families can relate to it. Sobrang real.

As a sign of gratitude, he also promised the BM Lovers that they’ll strive harder to be able to deliver good stories.

“We are inspired and we want to assure the BM Lovers that we will continue to do our best and give you the best story, lalo na at pinagkatiwalaan kami ng management na mag-extend until October. Although hindi pa rin talaga sure kung kailan matatapos [ang show],” the director expressed.
