In the daytime series “Be My Lady”, the family of Pinang (Erich Gonzales) composed of Emil (Al Tantay), Marcy (Janice de Belen), Mackie (RK Bagatsing) and Julian (Yves Flores) showed Phil (Daniel Matsunaga) the very special bond of Filipino families.
The Crisostomo family went through a lot of problems: Marcy lost her job in Singapore and got deported, the family farm was seized by the lending company where it was pawned, Emil got into an accident and had to undergo an operation, to name a few. Throughout the months, they proved that they could overcome all their struggles and hardships in life as long as they are together.
Today, let us look back at some of the ups and downs of their family’s journey to know and understand why they can be considered a model family we should all look up to.
Marcy became very emotional as she recalled her experience working and living in Singapore. Pinang, Emil and Julian assured her that they would always be there for her no matter what.
Emil showed his anger to his siblings after finding out that they broke their promise and sold the family farm.
The Crisostomo family became complete again when Mackie returned home. Marcy shed some tears of joy when she was reunited with her son after such a long time.
Pinang and Julian showed some sibling love as they supported Mackie when he was feeling a bit upset.
During a celebration, the entire Crisostomo family happily performed “Dahil Mahal Kita” in front of their friends and neighbors. 1 | 2
