Olga as Marites’ friend Batang Quiapohttps://youtu.be/2BTACABi2fo?si=3wlvjh0og6npzl6Q

We might despise Olga (Irma Adlawan) for her cunning villainous ways, but in this era, we can't help but ‘love’ her as she's the only one who managed to convince Marites (Cherry Pie Picache) that her husband Rigor (John Estrada) indeed has a mistress, urging her not to play the martyr but to stand up and fight instead.

Somehow, she has become Marites’ ‘cheerleader,’ although we're well aware that her friendliness is merely a facade, as evidenced in this Friday 5 video compilation from "FPJ's Batang Quiapo.”

Driven by jealousy and an unquenchable thirst for justice after her son’s death, Olga has devised a game plan, with Tanggol (Coco Martin) as the main target, and hitting the people he loves along the way, including his mother, Marites.

Olga serves as a clear example of keeping your enemies close, as she cunningly infiltrates the lives of the Dimaguiba family to wreak havoc. Her strategy of pretending to be Marites' friend allows her to closely monitor their lives and execute her plans effectively.

In the opening scene, they were at the market when Marites spotted Lena (Mercedes Cabral), prompting her to confide in Olga about her suspicions regarding Lena being her husband’s mistress. Sensing an opportunity to escalate the situation, Olga suggested they spy on Lena and emphasized that a wife's intuition about her husband's affair is often spot-on.

She always emphasized that Marites' gut feeling was correct. One time, she even added fuel to the fire by asking if there was anything unusual in Rigor's behavior, prompting Marites to share that she noticed Rigor bringing clothes for work, which he doesn't usually do. Olga then asserted the possibility that Rigor might be bringing clothes to his mistress's house.

Despite despising Olga for her cunning antagonistic ways, we love how she’s the only person who managed to convince Marites that Rigor indeed had a mistress. She also instilled in Marites the courage to stand up, refuse to be taken advantage of, and fight back against Rigor and Lena.

Olga hid her excitement when she successfully persuaded Marites to confront the traitors, fully aware that this would lead to a major scandal and tarnish Rigor's reputation as a policeman. She played the role of a cheerleader, supporting Marites as they stormed to Lena's house and caught the two red-handed. While Olga outwardly appeared concerned, deep down, she reveled in the chaos that the Dimaguiba family was experiencing.

Yes, she may be the antagonist, but we couldn't help but appreciate her straightforwardness when she lectured Marites about the outdated notions of martyrdom and foolishness. She even went the extra mile to help Marites find the courage to fight the mistress head-on.
