Tanggol vs Bong Batang Quiapo Toplist

When Tanggol (Coco Martin) and his friends were taken to the correctional facility after a series of criminal charges were filed against them, he encountered different people who would either become allies or adversaries.

The “Batang Quiapo” squad found themselves in conflict with the “Batang Divisoria” group led by Bong (Vandolph Quizon), who saw the newcomers as threats to his authority within the prison. Watch five of the most gripping Tanggol VS Bong confrontation scenes in “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” via this Friday 5 video.

Right from the start, Bong and his companions made it clear to the "Batang Quiapo" squad who held authority in the jail. They greeted the newcomers with threats, intimidating each of them. Even Celso (Soliman Cruz), the chief leader of the cell group, warned Tanggol to not mess with Bong's group, as they were under the protection of Chief Espinas (Jacklyn Jose).

Bong has his loyal minions, namely, Fidel (Zeppi Borromeo), Abner (Michael Rivero), Cocoy (Joel “Pambansang Kolokoy” Mondina), and Teron (Darwin Tolentino). Upon Tanggol's arrival in the jail, Bong wasted no time and resorted to bullying tactics against him and his friends, asserting that everyone must kowtow to the pioneers.

But beyond power dynamics, he felt an instant dislike for Tanggol due to widespread comments about the latter’s striking appearance. So, seeing Tanggol’s undeniable handsomeness with his own eyes only fueled his growing resentment.

The fire intensified as Tanggol allegedly caught the attention of Bubbles (Ivana Alawi), the woman whom Bong admires. Bong repeatedly warned Tanggol, threatening to send him straight to the portals of hell once he proves that Tanggol is making advances on Bubbles. There was a scene where Bong’s minion reported that Bubbles had brought food to Tanggol’s cell, provoking Bong so much that he rushed to Tanggol and punched him without a warning.

Bong’s jealousy flared when he saw Bubbles talking to Tanggol, so he rushed to him and issued a warning. However, both Bubbles and Celso came to Tanggol’s defense, revealing that Tanggol was already under Chief Espinas’ protection as a trustee or a person trusted to maintain peace and order in jail.

This revelation somewhat persuaded Bong to spare Tanggol, at least for the time being. Nevertheless, he cautioned Bubbles to steer clear of Tanggol, or else, he would harm the latter.

Then came a recent altercation where Tanggol no longer held back. Unlike the usual confrontations initiated by Bong, this time, it was Tanggol who stormed to Bong’s cell upon hearing that Bong had been harassing Bubbles. Despite facing threats and potential consequences, Tanggol proved that he is still a gentleman committed to protecting Bubbles at all costs, and in the process of defending his friend, he showed how ferocious he can get in fighting.
