At the beginning of FPJ’s Batang Quiapo, many viewers have already noticed the way Lena (Mercedes Cabral) gazes at Rigor (John Estrada). Her eyes basically say, “I need your attention.” She’s been desperately trying to steal him, as shown in this Friday 5 video from the trending teleserye.

Even Rigor’s best friend, Mando (Allan Paule), noticed her ‘para-paraan’ moves when she fetched him from home pretending to hand him important papers about a case. Lena waited in a corner, scared to get caught by Rigor’s wife, Marites (Cherry Pie Picache). The wannabe-mistress clearly felt elated when she was introduced to Rigor’s son, David (McCoy de Leon).

While Rigor was busy and quiet in the office after news about Ramon (Christopher de Leon)’s escape from jail, Lena struck with her feminine charm by inviting him for a snack. She then low-key promoted his ego, saying he’d surely get the criminal back to jail because, well, that’s how good he is. Besides, she promised to help.

She had to level up her game by getting a bit physical. Lena strikes whenever Rigor is stressed out, weak and vulnerable. One time, she noticed he was problematic about Tindeng (Charo Santos)’ case. She asked him to relax by leaning back on the chair and on her chest as she gives him a massage.

And finally she accomplished her plan to invite him to a drinking session. You know what they say about alcohol and hidden motives. In their conversation, the tipsy Lena somewhat brainwashed Rigor about the complexities of a married life and dealing with in-laws, as if saying there’s a less complicated life if only he knows what to choose. She promised to always be there to listen and asked him to drink more to forget about his problems. The next thing he knew, he was in a motel room with Lena, who failed to control her desires and kissed him on the lips.
