Facundo & Tindeng Batang Quiapo

When Tindeng (Charo Santos) and her best friend Noy (Lou Veloso) started working as house helpers at the Caballero mansion, many noticed a potential love angle between her and the Caballero patriarch, Don Facundo (Jaime Fabregas). Let's revisit their scenes from "FPJ’s Batang Quiapo" that highlight their unexpected chemistry.

First in this Kapamilya Toplist video compilation is a clip of Tindeng and Noy arriving at the mansion. They were greeted by the stern housekeeper, Pacing (Malou Crisologo), while Facundo watched them from a distance. Facundo then joined the conversation, asking who the visitors were. His wife, Bettina (Tessie Tomas), explained that these were the people who had saved her from the robbers she encountered in Quiapo and that she was hiring them because they needed help.

At first, Don Facundo was irritable with Tindeng, especially when she accidentally entered his room to bring him coffee while he was on the phone with a lawyer. She overheard that he was planning to help some prisoners get released from jail.

Tindeng admitted that she accidentally overheard part of Facundo's conversation with the lawyer, hoping to bring up her request for help with her grandson Tanggol (Coco Martin), who was in jail at the time. However, she fell silent because Facundo was so intimidating. Despite this, he appreciated her honesty.

Viewers noticed Don Facundo's concern when he saw Tindeng struggling to clean the mansion. He told her to rest if she was tired, but she insisted that Bettina had specifically asked her to do the task. Although he walked away, it was clear that he was worried about her health.

Audiences felt the spark even more when Facundo was noticeably stunned upon seeing Tindeng in a nice dress, an old garment handed down by Bettina. At that moment, Tindenggathered the courage to ask Facundo if he could help get Tanggol released. When you put two brilliant veterans together in a scene like this, their starpower lights up the entire screen.

Another conversation took place when Facundo observed that his granddaughter, Katherine (Ara Davao), was growing close to Tindeng. However, Facundo misunderstood Tindeng's intentions and forbade her from talking with Katherine ever again.

From being irritable towards Tindeng, Facundo suddenly had a change of heart and became kind to her when Bettina accused Tindeng of stealing her jewelry. Facundo defended Tindeng from the false accusations, having found Bettina's accessories scattered among her belongings. It was clear how he berated Bettina for her actions.

This was followed by a charming scene where Tindeng and Facundo exchanged witty jokes. He humorously requested a pitcher of peace and quiet, teasing about his wife's loud demeanor getting on his nerves. Tindeng playfully responded, saying she would gladly fetch it for him. For the first time, the old man smiled at her. He also expressed admiration for her strength in distancing herself from a family that had hurt her, and starting anew. It seemed they had something in common that could allow them to relate to each other; they just need to delve deeper and get to know each other better.

Their chemistry became evident in a scene where Facundosaw Tindeng leaving the mansion. He asked her where she was going, and when she mentioned the market, he decided to offer her a ride in his car and accompany her there. Instead of just dropping her off, he joined Tindeng in shopping at the market. During their time together, they got to know each other and appreciated one another's good qualities. Facundoeven thanked Tindeng for allowing him to accompany her, mentioning how much he missed going to that place himself. He then ensured that his men would safely escort Tindengback to the mansion, allowing his gazes to linger a little longer, making Tindeng feel shy.

Is FacunDeng becoming real?
