Happy Valentine’s Day, Kapamilya!

If you wish to feel more ‘kilig,’ the cast of FPJ’s Batang Quiapo got you, as they talk about all things love in these videos!

First, they described how they act and feel when struck by Cupid’s arrow. Like most of us, Christopher de Leon knows he is truly in love when he is comfortable around that person. Romance is indeed one of the best antidotes to sadness and negativity. Lito Lapid recalled that when he was younger, love used to make him feel just happy.

The very much in love Cherry Pie Picache revealed love makes her selfless, “I can give my all through thick and thin, in sickness and in health.”

Add to that, love is a catalyst for creativity, that’s why rap artists Smugglaz and Bassilyo can think and do more when there’s a special someone to inspire them.

Toni Fowler isn’t one to sugarcoat her behavior, saying she tends to be ‘nakakasakal’ or clingy toward her partner, “Needy, gano’n ako. Para akong obsessed sa kanya.”

We know you’re as curious as us to know how Coco Martin behaves when he is in love. Well, he’s extra passionate and he goes all-out for that person, “Talagang isusuko ang lahat. Handang kalimutan kung ano ang meron… Sabi nga nila ‘pag na-i-in love ka, minsan nawawalan ka ng talino. Pag na-in love ka na, nakakalimutan mo na ‘yung sarili mo.”

Not to sound bitter or something, but the FPJ’s Batang Quiapo cast thinks there are things about Valentine’s Day that needs to be altered. When asked what they like to change about this occasion, Irma Adlawan hopes the flowers aren’t that expensive every Heart’s Day, “I mean it withers, it does not last. It’s very tangible. But when given that thing, it makes you feel special. So, sana huwag naman masyadong mahal.” She quipped, “Mahal na nga sibuyas, pati bulaklak mahal pa rin.”

Couple Norvin and Lovely dela Peña have a better idea than gifting flowers: “Grocery na lang. Praktikal pa tayo!”

For John Estrada, V-Day would be a lot more enjoyable if there’s less traffic in the streets and restaurants, “Sana hindi gano’n ka-crowded.” We can also normalize date nights at home, right?

Romantics would agree with McCoy de Leon’s suggestion to bring back old gestures of love such as ‘harana’ or serenade instead of modern practices like texting and social media activities.

Meanwhile, if she could, Lovi Poe would make Valentine’s Day a daily or monthly occasion, so we can celebrate love more often. But if Mark Lapid has the power to revise the event, he’d move V-Day to another date (not near his birthday which is February 16).

In the last video, they were asked their relationship dealbreakers. These are qualities or things that will make them want to cut a special connection with someone.

Mercedes Cabral said she will breakup with a guy when the trust is already broken as she experienced in the past, “Kahit tina-try ko na ibalik ‘yung relationship o mag-work, hindi na talaga gumagana dahil wala na akong tiwala. Kung umpisa pa lang nalaman ko na hindi na truthful sa akin itong tao na ‘to, dealbreak siya sa akin, kasi paano pa kung tumagal.”

As a single mom, the greatest dealbreaker for Toni is when a guy doesn’t get along well with her kid.

Dishonesty, infidelity, and lack of respect are also the most common dealbreakers for the cast.

Catch this happy bunch in FPJ’s Batang Quiapo, weeknights, on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, and A2Z.
