Being the pathological liar, manipulator, homewrecker, and condescending woman that she is, it’s definitely not surprising that Lena, astoundingly portrayed by seasoned actress Mercedes Cabral, is one of the most hated characters not just in FPJ’s Batang Quiapo, but in the entire Kapamilya primetime block.

A lot of viewers couldn’t help but express their abhorrence towards her, as she didn’t just continue her illicit affair with her colleague Rigor (John Estrada) despite still being married to Marites (Cherry Pie Picache), but she’s also able to successfully get him into her own hands, especially now that she’s already part of the Dimaguiba household.

However, even though she has Rigor and his favorite son David (McCoy de Leon) on her side, the world is obviously against her. And in this episode of Kapamilya Update, let us revisit the four biggest and most intense fights of the embattled Lena yet that totally roused and shocked us.

Let’s start the list with the most recent one, which was her altercation with Marites’ mighty mom Tindeng (Charo Santos) that left everyone in bated breaths. She was vehemently assaulted by a furious Tindeng while she was sleeping on her bed and dragged her out of the room, making the neighbors witness their face-off. This prompted her to bring out her gun, while Tindeng pointed a balisong at her, and an exchange of fiery threats ensued.

The scene was so nerve-wracking that the heavily pregnant Camille (Yukii Takahashi) almost got into labor, which put an end to their quarrel.

Next was Lena’s heated argument with their new housemate Roda (Director Joel Lamangan), who brazenly called her out for being haughty and domineering toward their neighbors. Lena may have conveyed that she’s not the type who would easily fold to someone like Roda, and she wouldn’t hesitate to retaliate at him once he crossed her, but Roda proved to her that he’s the number 1 “warfreak” in Quiapo, so he would never bow down at her as well.

Of course, who would forget the confrontation between her and Tanggol Coco Martin) when the latter visited their home unannounced? The viewers might be as gigil as Tanggol with Lena’s arrogance while talking to him and his brother Santino (Ronwaldo Martin), so we really admired how the siblings were able to hold their horses and remain respectful at her even after she slapped Tanggol. They even thought of immediately bringing her to the hospital after she intentionally push herself off the stairs and made it appear that Tanggol attempted to threaten her and her baby’s life.

Last, but definitely not the least, was the cook-off between her and Marites as both of them try to impress Rigor with their cooking skills. Since Marites forbade her from using any stuff in the kitchen, Lena bought her own stove, utensils, and ingredients as she wanted to prove Marites that it’s her who Rigor would choose rather than her, may it be in cooking or in love.
