In the past six months, Bagong Umaga has indeed brought us to a rollercoaster ride of emotions. It amused us with the endearing bond among some of its characters, made us kilig with the pairings formed among the young lead stars, touched us with the dramatic scenes, and made our hearts pound with the intense confrontations. 

But in real life and off-cam, the usual moods are either cheery or serious – as seen in the behind-the-scenes photos we collated in this gallery! 

This shows how the cast members are really close to one another and how they enjoy working together. In fact, Tony has already shared in his past interviews that he appreciates how all the people in the set are very respectful with each other and very understanding of the situation, which makes work lighter.  

We can even see in their social media pages some of their bonding moments, such as the workout sessions of Tony, Barbie Imperial, Heaven Peralejo, Yves Flores, and Kiko Estrada do. Barbie also shared in her past interviews how understanding the production staff, especially the directors, have been. But amidst those bonding moments, the whole Bagong Umaga team never forgets to observe minimum health protocols on the set. 

Indeed, the real meanings of love, friendship, and family that the barkada series has wanted to impart to the audience have indeed transcended to how they are on the set. Apparently, the cast members and the whole staff and crew are able to establish a special bond with each other and have considered each other family as they seem to be so fond of making fun of themselves and of one another, sharing stories and fun off-cam moments together, and doing other droll shenanigans. 

But as the reels start rolling, they instantly switch on their 'game on' faces as they listen to the instructions of their directors, carefully study the scenes they’re going to do, and check how a certain take was executed.
