Former Pinoy Big Brother housemate Angela Tungol has continued to make waves after showing us what she’s got during her stint in the reality show.

Angela now stars in the afternoon drama Bagong Umaga taking on the role of Lia.

In an interview, the “Hataw Hottie ng Bataan” said she couldn't believe how her stint in PBB has immensely changed her life, especially when it comes to her popularity. “Nakaka-overwhelm and hindi talaga namin in-expect na ganun kadaming tao ‘yung nagmamahal sa amin through ups and downs. It’s been a roller coaster ride for me since PBB days hanggang paglabas ko so sobrang thankful pa din ako sa mga taong nagmamahal sa akin at sumusuporta dito sa labas ng bahay ni Kuya,” she said.

PBB ex-housemates are usually expected to join the showbiz industry after their stay in the Big Brother house, and Angela has followed suit with her Bagong Umaga stint. However, she emphasized that it’s not only acting that she wants to pursue. “I’m more of into dancing talaga kasi ‘yun na din talaga ‘yung passion and talent ko,” she said. You can even see old Instagram posts of her performing some interpretative and hip-hop dances. She even did a collaboration with fellow PBB alumna Sheena Catacutan in dancing the "Banana Dance" challenge.

Angela also revealed her dream leading man. “If may chance si Daniel Padilla din (gusto ko makatrabaho). Crush lang naman, hinahangaan,” she added. She actually revealed even before joining PBB that she has always been a solid fan of the Kapamilya actor and that she’s actually had a huge crush on him since she was in grade one.

And her recent IG photos just show how much the young aspiring actress has bloomed and looked even more mature. With her sweet but fierce photos, you can say that she’s going to be a promising actress of her generation.

Behind all the blessings and success that Angela has received ever since she joined PBB, is a humble heart that is always true to the people around her. “Naniniwala ako na mas maraming magmamahal sa ‘yo kung magpapakatotoo ka lang so just be yourself. May pag-iingat kung kailangan pero hangga’t maaari ‘yung totoong tayo lang po ‘yung ipapakita natin sa lahat,” she said.
