Liza Soberano has shown her impressive abilities in action-packed scenes, and this bodes well for her upcoming role as this generation’s reincarnation of the Pinay superhero Darna.
We can all witness it in her current portrayal of the femme fatale Ganda in the primetime series Bagani.
The behind-the-scene photos in the gallery above give us a glimpse on how she rehearsed the stunts that were seamlessly executed in those scenes in which Lakas (Enrique Gil), Malaya (Kristine Hermosa) and their other dependable and fearless companions fought the monstrous beings that were controlled by the evil and powerful deity of Dako Paroon, Gaki (Justin Cuyugan).
Behold how she listened carefully to the instructions of her stunt mentor and seem to nail it immediately!
Her journey in the mystical place began when she blamed herself for the tragic yet heroic demise of Mayari (Sofia Andres), and faced Sarimaw (Ryan Eigenmann), the wicked God of Sansinukob, single-handedly.
However, her power and bravery were not enough to suppress the enemy, which led to her sudden disappearance and being transported to the enchanted Mundo ng Pangalawang Pagkakataon (World of Second Chances). There, she met the ravishing and soft-spoken yet fierce goddess Malaya, who guided and helped her throughout her sojourn.
Of course, Lakas kept his hopes up and did everything to rescue and take her out of Dako Paroon. It was also via their unexpected battles there that Ganda was able to improve her abilities and unleash her newest supernatural power.
Now, they’re back to their beloved homeland and are facing new challenges together with their fellow Baganis.
