Kicking off his showbiz career at the age of 19, Albert Martinez has been a sought-after actor appearing in various television shows and movies.
From being a dashing matinee idol in his younger years, he transformed into a doting dad in his recent portrayals and seem to be the top choice for the role.
His first teleserye as a Kapamilya was in 2006 when he played Benicio Chuatoco, the third party for Piolo Pascual and Judy Ann Santos in Sa Piling Mo.
That stint was succeeded when he assumed the roles of the lead protagonists' father in Maria Flordeluna (2007), Princess Sarah (2007), Kahit Isang Saglit (2008), May Bukas Pa (2009), Nasaan Ka Elisa? (2011), Princess and I (2012), The Good Son (2017), and Bagani (2018).
The 56-year-old seasoned actor also proved that he can keep pace with the modern-day heartthrobs for he was also tapped to become the leading man of Kris Aquino in Patayin sa Sindak si Barbara (2008), of Bea Alonzo in Sana Bukas Pa ang Kahapon (2014), and of Yen Santos in All of Me (2015).
With all the kind-hearted characters he had portrayed, he proves that he can also be a fearsome antagonist, as seen in his appearances in May Bukas Pa (2009), Juan Dela Cruz and My Little Juan (2013), and FPJ's Ang Probinsyano (2015).
But it was his stint in La Luna Sangre as the Moonchasers Head Theodore "Prof. T" Montemayor that would be very remarkable to the televiewers.
Apart from the aforementioned teleseryes, the versatile actor lent his formidable acting prowess as well to I Am KC, Palos, Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin, 100 Days to Heaven, and Dyesebel.
