From the beginning, Bagani has never failed to stun us with the action-packed scenes, stirring revelations, and fantastic visuals, making every episode absolutely unmissable.

Apart from those, another thing that thrilled us every night is the changes or developments among the characters, in terms of their personalities, costumes, or demeanors. Now that the fantasy action series is on its final week, let’s take a look back on the delighting and mind-blowing transformations of its 12 remarkable characters.

Dakim (Christian Vasquez)

You probably used to hate him because of his treachery and greediness. He murdered his own father and the chieftain Alab (Lito Pimentel) and his most trusted friend Agos (Albert Martinez) in order to gain leadership of the Desert region. With the tribe under his malevolent control, Lakas did have a challenging plight as he punished and attempted to kill him for a number of times.

He went MIA (missing-in-action) for quite some time and had a shocking return as a peace-loving and benevolent werewolf who agreed to cooperate with the Baganis in fighting against Sarimaw (Ryan Eigenmann).

Dumakulem (Makisig Morales)

Fulfilling his dream of exploring the world outside the forest was difficult for the adventure-seeker like him who lives with a nonchalant clan that is already contented with the life they have. But thanks to Apo (Diether Ocampo) for choosing him to be the representative of the Taga-Gubats in the mighty hero squad that would protect Sansinukob from the ruthlessness of Sarimaw and his beastly minions.

Although he became a hero, a duty that requires utmost seriousness and rationality, Dumakulem didn’t lose the optimist and fun-loving personality in him.

Gaki (Justin Cuyugan)

We were all befuddled about whoever portrays this horrific being who has been spreading fear and evil in the fictional island region. And recently, the fearsome monster was finally unmasked to be Justin Cuyugan.

Before, it was only him and his minion Bungisngis who were trying to dominate the Sansinukob, until Malaya came and proposed their alliance.

Ganda (Liza Soberano)

With the gentleness and daintiness she exudes, who would have thought that the muse of the Farming region is a rebel and warrior by heart? From being only a great archer, she was able to hone her combat skills and the power within her and bloomed to become a dexterous and courageous damsel who’s willing to sacrifice herself for the sake of protecting her friends and the whole Sansinukob.

Kidlat (Rayver Cruz)

From being a mere warrior of Taga-Disyerto and best buddy of Lakas, Kidlat became a temporary leader of their tribe in the absence of his friend. Just like anyone, he also yearned to acquire supernatural powers and was lured to use the “Punyal ni Berberoka”. It almost killed him, but his pure heart saved him and he was instead possessed by evil spirits.

Lakam (Matteo Guidicelli)

As he aimed to prove himself to and gain the affection of his father Ama (Robert Sena), the head of the Trade region, Lakam was forced to set aside his artistic side and focus on becoming a warrior and potential leader for their clan. He might not be trained in combat, but he leaves us awestruck every time he gets into action.

Lakas (Enrique Gil)

Because of his parents’ past, Lakas grew up being bullied and discriminated by their own tribe, particularly of their chieftain’s son Dakim, who eventually led their tribe. Instead of getting discouraged, Lakas was motivated to learn how to fight and be one of the greatest warriors of the Desert Region and the whole Sansinukob. He later on became the leader of his people and played a pivotal role in the Baganis’ face-offs with the cruel antagonists.

Liksi (Zaijian Jaranilla)

From being a slave and a wannabe Bagani, Liksi’s life eventually changed when he was chosen to replace Mayari after her death and acquired her super powers as well. He is in-charge of protecting the Sea region and played a significant role in the battles of the Baganis.

Marikit (Charlie Dizon)

She used to be one of the badass female pirates of the Tulisans spearheaded by her older sister Matadora (Aiko Melendez). Marikit eventually had a change of heart and shifted her loyalty to the Baganis.

Matadora/Bighani (Aiko Melendez)

She may not possess supernatural powers, but her ferocity is enough to intimidate those who dared to hinder her wicked schemes and fight with her brave henchmen. Once powerless, she and the Tulisans became strong opponents of the Baganis when she acquired the dagger of Berberoka bestowed by Sarimaw. It was recently discovered that she and Ganda are actually half-sisters.

Mayari (Sofia Andres)

Many of us surely identified with Mayari, who used to be a slave of Datu, the head of the Sea Region Her courage to protect her family and her people catapulted her to become a Bagani. Unfortunately, she got killed while defending her region against Sarimaw, which shocked and created a hullaballoo among the audiences.
A few weeks ago, she astound everyone with her surprise reappearance not as a friend, but an enemy of her former group. Malaya just revived her back to life to easily kill Lakas.

Malaya (Kristine Hermosa)

With her deific beauty, we assumed that she was going to be the highly anticipated savior that the Baganis have been yearning for. But our hopes crumbled when her real identity was unraveled as the devious goddess of Sansinukob and mother of Sarimaw who got incarcerated by her husband Bathala because of protecting and tolerating the evil deeds of Sarimaw. She turned out to be the most powerful nemesis of our valiant heroes.
