A stranger bumps into Alex (Gerald Anderson) and Minda (Mickey Ferriols) while they are on a quick run for supplies in the market. A furious Alex calls the man’s attention but Minda persuades her son to just let the incident pass. The guy is revealed to be Saal (Sid Lucero) who is in Manila to look for Yasmin (Irma Adlawan). A flashback shows that during the Scout Rangers’ encounter against Nassir (Zeppi Borromeo)’s group, Saal escaped through a secret tunnel before blasting the place. The soldiers led by Dante (Rommel Padilla) assumed that all targets including Saal were killed in the explosion. But Saal managed to find his way to the woods where another bunch of rebels saw and harboured him. He was able to recover from the losses through the help of his new allies who happen to be big terrorists with international connections. Saal now conspires with the powerful terror leaders whose plan is to use their business as front to conceal their illegal operations. Apart from vengeance, Saal’s other goal is to reunite with his family.
Meanwhile, Minda has been bonding with her sons and Dante for the past days as the men are out of the camp for a quick rest and recuperation. The family spends happy hours in Minda’s mini garden. Grace (Claire Ruiz) joins the scene to offer the snacks she prepared. They exchange stories about Elmer (Vin Abrenica) and Grace’s baby until the topic turns to teases about Alex’s feelings for Lourd (Sue Ramirez). The bond continues inside the house as they organize old belongings in the living room. Minda finds photographs of young Elmer and Alex, prompting her to act sentimental and request for a hug from her sons.
Yasmin (Irma Adlwan) meets with an acquaintance to purchase a gun which she plans to use in the pursuit of vendetta. She contacts Minda to catch up and apologize for not being around when the latter visited her stall in the market. Minda invites Yasmin to come over their house and meet her family. With a scheme in mind, Yasmin gives in to Minda’s innocent request.
