Before heading back to Manila, Minda (Mickey Ferriols) and Dante (Rommel Padilla) treat the young soldiers to a dinner in a posh restaurant. The bunch pokes fun at Michael (Nash Aguas)’s big appetite. Lourd (Sue Ramirez) arrives in her unusual feminine look, captivating Alex (Gerald Anderson)’s attention. Teases and smiles flutter around the place as Lourd notes Alex’s mesmerized reaction.
The dinner ends but the night is just starting to become more romantic. Jethro (Elmo Magalona) refuses to come with Lourd back to the camp, saying he doesn’t feel comfortable on her motorcycle. He asks Alex to take the backseat ride instead. Surprisingly, Lourd acts softer towards Alex this time, far from the unexplainable temper she used to display in front of him. Heavy rains start to pour while the two are taking the ride on the way back to the camp; forcing them to stop and find shelter in an old couple’s abode. The two soldiers observe the couple’s sweetness.
Meanwhile, Michael brims with joy thinking that Isabel (Charlie Dizon) dropped by the camp to see him. To his surprise, Gov. Amer Gezali (Richard Quan) comes out of the car, frankly asking him to end his relationship with his daughter due to conflict in religion.
Michael tries to fight for Isabel, saying that Islam and Christianity revolve around the same principles of peace and love. He insists his feelings for Isabel and vows to never hurt her. But no matter how pure Michael’s intentions are, the governor remains firm in his decision to keep Isabel away from him.
