Still bothered by the truth on the Alhurajis’ death, Alex (Gerald Anderson) opens up his apprehensions to Abe (Carlo Aquino). Once again, he consults Apo Hajid (Jerry O’Hara), the old Imam who took leadership during the time of a skirmish that killed Yosef Alhuraji (Lito Pimentel). The elderly finally spills the truth that only Yosef’s body was retrieved from the crime scene and that Hakeem’s remains was never found.
Meanwhile, unable to bear Nassir (Zeppi Borromeo)’s ruthlessness and arrogance, Saal (Sid Lucero) and his small group hatches a plan for escape by planting explosives around the hideout. But the appearance of the military spoils his strategies. The Scout Rangers led by Dante (Rommel Padilla) position themselves upon confirmed sighting of the target. Dante monitors Saal’s movements through the rifle scope.
Upon discovering the presence of the uniformed men, Saal devises a scheme by hiding inside the house. An intense explosion follows, wiping out the whole shelter and traces of all the rebels including Saal. The army secures the perimeter and seeing the effects of the destruction, Dante assumes that no one managed to survive. Besides, the casualties would be hardly identified. Saal’s family are left in the forest with Yasmin grieving terribly over her son’s death.
News about the covert operations reaches the camp. Dante makes the mission appears as a simple chance encounter. Victor (Ariel Rivera) smiles in content while Alex and Abe are puzzled with the series of coincidence.
