Realizing his recklessness, Saal (Sid Lucero) attempts to get rid of the CCTV footages from the hotel where he shot Dante (Rommel Padilla). But this only leads him to trouble and betrayal. An ally sells him out to Nassir (Zeppi Borromeo), leader of a separate faction. Saal is now in the brink of joining forces with Nassir to spare him and his remaining members.
Seeing the volume of weariness in Saal’s eyes, Yasmin (Irma Adlawan) wraps him in a comforting embrace and tells him to raise the white flag if he could no longer bear the struggles. Yet, Saal remains determined to keep the fight in behalf of his fellow Moros crying out for justice.
Meanwhile, Dante goes back to Mindanao to clear up Abdul Waajid (Sid Lucero)’s motive behind the attempted ambush attack. At the camp’s archives section, Dante and Col. Fontiveros (Nor Domingo) check the records of the terror group leaders they killed; assuming that Abdul Waajid is a son of a former enemy. The conversation leads them to memories of a skirmish that took place at Opol, Misamis Oriental in 1997 where the rebel leader, Yosef Alhuraji (Lito Pimentel) died. They recall that the body of Yosef’s eldest son was never retrieved while his youngest was taken under Dante’s custody and grew up as Alex (Gerald Anderson).
Alex probes on the incident. His thorough research drives him to the conclusion that Abdul Waajid and Saal Alhuraji are one and the same. Dante displays a blank look on his face upon hearing Alex relay the information which he is quick to deny.
