Dante (Rommel Padilla) tries to fix the rift between Alex (Gerald Anderson) and Elmer (Vin Abrenica). The newly graduated soldiers all receive a text message from the division, asking them to report at the headquarters. The scene is enveloped in moving exchanges of goodbyes among the troopers and their families. Abe (Carlo Aquino) says farewell to his mother; and so does Benjie (Yves Flores) to his niece and mom. Michael (Nash Aguas) makes sure to provide enough allowance for his family. Before leaving, Alex pays respect to his parents with a salute for Dante and a heart-warming embrace for Minda (Mickey Ferriols).
At the camp, Col. Adriano (Raymond Bagatsing) discusses the current lead about the target terror group’s leaders. Photos of Saal aka Abdul Waajid (Sid Lucero) and Rasheed (Matt Evans) are posted on the board; while two other members of the leadership hierarchy remain unidentified. Alex’s group is divided into two. Abe, Michael, and Gorio (Angelo Ilagan) are assigned in the checkpoints. Alex, Benjie, and Phil (Jerome Ponce) are turned over to Jethro (Elmo Magalona)’s platoon.
Moreover, Alex is tapped to head the cyber-security team. His mobile phone, taken by the terrorists during the ambush incident six months ago, could be used to begin the surveillance.
Meanwhile, Saal (Sid Lucero)’s group struggles to get adequate firearms and aid from Governor Gezali (Richard Quan). It turns out that the politician is trying to press the rebel force into killing his enemies first before providing them with enough resources. Gov. Gezali and Saal decide to discuss other matters in person.
