Determined to pursue his passion for painting, Jethro (Elmo Magalona) acts defiant to his father’s orders of becoming a higher ranking military official. A heated argument transpires between them. That night, Jethro opts for bottles of alcohol to loosen up. He gets a call from Elmer (Vin Abrenica) and the conversation continues until he starts driving his car. Elmer begs Jethro to make a stop and wait for him. But Jethro sounds completely upset as he mumbles about his frustrations over Victor’s countless commands. Elmer still pleads Jethro to calm down but the next thing he hears is the latter screaming. Upon confirmation of the accident, Elmer contacts his family and Victor is informed as well.
At the hospital, Victor arrives together with Congressman Sakili (Levi Ignacio) who he had a meeting with prior to the incident. As Dante (Rommel Padilla) and Elmer accompany Victor inside, both Congressman Sakili and Alex (Gerald Anderson) stay by the entrance to make phone calls. Two men abduct Congressman Sakili while Alex decides to tail the suspect’s vehicle.
At the hideout, Congressman Sakili tries to threaten the abductors with his social standing and political power. Hassan (Lorenz Martinez) enters the scene to make a treacherous Congressman Sakili pay. The latter pleads Hassan to spare him. Alex contacts Dante’s group for rescue. But instead of calling the police or army for back up, Dante decides to go to the alleged location and verify the report first, as though reluctant with Alex’s tip.
Hassan receives a call from Saal (Sid Lucero) who turns out to be his boss. He gets scolded for his reckless decision to take revenge without plotting a concrete scheme. Then, Hassan heeds to Saal’s reminder that it isn’t yet the time to adhere to their emotions and they should rather take things slowly.
