Unable to bear Nassir (Zeppi Borromeo)’s arrogance, Saal (Sid Lucero) and his small group hatch a plan for escape by planting explosives around the hideout. But the appearance of the military spoils his plans. The Scout Rangers led by Dante (Rommel Padilla) position themselves upon confirmed sighting of the target.
Yasmin (Irma Adlwan) and Fatima (Nikki Valdez) hide in the woods while Rasheed (Matt Evans) volunteers to fetch Saal. Tasked to coordinate with the getaway car provided by the governor, Amir (Patrick Quiroz) goes solo and is shot by a soldier. Yet, he is still able to find Yasmin and Fatima despite the wounded leg.
Saal discovers the presence of the army. He thinks of a strategy and hides inside Nassir’s house. Dante feels frustrated as he loses sight of Saal on the riflescope. An intense explosion happens not long after, wiping out the whole shelter and traces of all the rebels including Saal. The army secures the perimeter and seeing the effects of the explosion, Dante assumes that no one managed to survive. Besides, the casualties would be hardly identified.
Rasheed catches up with his companions in the forest. He carefully breaks Yasmin’s hope and tells her that Saal is already dead. Yasmin grieves in disbelief while insisting that his son is still alive. In the midst of the heart breaking news, the group drags a weeping Yasmin out of the woods to escape.
