On their first mission to capture Saal aka Abdul Waajid (Sid Lucero)’s group, Alex (Gerald Anderson)’s team is divided into two. Abe (Carlo Aquino), Michael (Nash Aguas), and Gorio (Angelo Ilagan) are assigned in the checkpoint areas. While Alex, Benjie (Yves Flores) and Phil (Jerome Ponce) are part of the Alpha team under Jethro (Elmo Magalona)’s lead.
While doing his duty, Michael checks on the vehicle of the city governor (Richard Quan) and his daughter, Isabel (Charlie Dizon). The latter feels annoyed and asks his Dad to let his standing be known to the unaware soldier. The governor pays no heed to the disruption and calmly says that the authorities are just doing their job. After the inspection, Michael thanks the passengers and winks at Isabel.
Isabel escapes from his father’s meeting and goes to a restaurant in the town proper. She passes through the roadblock once again but this time, Isabel pours her temper towards Michael. A subtle delay occurs when Isabel refuses to open her car’s trunk lid. A senior police officer intrudes in the slight commotion and discreetly enlightens Michael about Isabel’s social stature. Michael bites his lip and smiles sheepishly as he gets in hot water. Isabel demands for Michael’s name and contact number and he has no other choice but to follow the beautiful lady’s instruction.
Later, Isabel seeks help from his father after getting a flat tire. She blames Michael for the series of bad luck coming at her.
