The army proceeds on their mission against Abdul Waajid (Sid Lucero)’s group, following the route monitored by Alex (Gerald Anderson). Even before the soldiers make their first move, another faction ignites a shootout and holds Governor Gezali (Richard Quan) in hostage.
The commotion signals the military’s pursuit. A number of rebels die in the encounter while a wounded Rasheed (Matt Evans) escapes. Abdul Waajid and Yasmin (Irma Adlawan) take Isabel (Charlie Dizon) with them, with the intent of saving her from the other rebel group.
Alex successfully gets a clear shot of the target until Abdul Waajid uses Isabel to block him. Memories of Olan (Ketchup Eusebio)’s death and Yasmin’s presence add more to his distraction. The rest of the troopers enter the scene and corner Abdul Waajid. But Fatima (Nikki Valdez)’s shot from a corner disrupts the rebel leader’s capture.Rescue comes for Abdul Waajid’s group when Rasheed, bearing a near-fatal gunshot, drives the
getaway vehicle. Fatima blasts a tailing military truck while they’re on the way to a secret ally’s house. The army follows the source of the explosion until they find the targets’ vehicle parked in the middle of the road. But no one is found inside except an unconscious Isabel who was intentionally left to avoid nuisance on Abdul Waajid’s camp.
The hunt continues. While on the lookout for the enemies, Alex and Benjie (Yves Flores) get into a heated argument about their mission. Driven to serve Olan justice, Benjie gets mad at Alex for just letting Abdul Waajid slip away. In defence, Alex explains that he just refrained from putting Isabel’s life at risk. Jethro (Elmo Magalona) cuts the argument and asks his subordinates to take their personal issues away. Lourdes (Sue Ramirez) discreetly scolds Alex, telling him to loosen up when his buddies are displaying high emotions.
The army soon receives an intel about Abdul Waajid’s sighting in a hospital. However, the rebels are already gone when they arrive. They find a doctor who was bound and gagged by the terrorists. The preceding sequence hinted that the doctor is Abdul Waajid’s accomplice.
Meanwhile, Isabel wakes up in the hospital and starts looking for her father. Michael (Nash Aguas) relieves her worries, saying Governor Gezali is already on a stable condition.
