While talking with his buddies from the camp, Alex (Gerald Anderson) senses a strange movement around the detachment area. Alex tries to trace signs of the possible enemy, thinking that they are being spied on. He braves the darkness until someone strangles him from behind. Alex manages to let loose of the grip and is surprised to find Lourdes (Sue Ramirez).
Lourdes scolds Alex for using his mobile phone while on duty in the middle of the night and for leaving his post to catch her. Her anger seems to be coming from a deeper root. She almost lets her emotions out while rubbing in Alex’s important role as a guard-on-duty and the possibility of exposing a comrade’s life to danger. Later, Lourdes cries by herself while thinking about Noah.
The next day, Lourdes catches Alex’s phone bearing a call from his mother. A hint of guilt is seen on her reaction. She decides to pick up the call while looking for Alex who, according to Abe (Carlo Aquino), is washing clothes in the river. Lourdes courteously explains to clarify Minda (Mickey Ferriol)’s assumption that she is Alex’s girlfriend.
Lourdes spots Alex in the river. The two are caught in a slight awkwardness as she unintentionally glances at his body. Lourdes hands Alex his phone and asks him to relay her apology to Minda for picking up the call a while ago.
The scene cuts to Alex telling Abe his apprehensions about the relation between Dante (Rommel Padilla) and Saal Ahuraji aka Abdul Waajid (Sid Lucero). He feels that Dante is hiding details about the death of Yosef Alhuraji (Lito Pimentel) and his family. While asked to buy supplies at the market, the buddies drop by the city hall to get a copy of Hakeem Alhuraji’s birth certificate through Aaliyah (Elora Españo)’s help.
