The Scout Ranger Training officially begins. Alex (Gerald Anderson) and his buddies all realize that the coming days would be far from easy. They are fed with a spoonful of red chilli and ordered to lick a statue. The fearless men vomit out of disgust and gastric pain combined. Dinner meal, contained inside a small plastic bag, is devoured for not more than ten seconds. They carry a 20-kilo backpack while going on a run under the scorching heat of the noontime sun.
Michael (Nash Aguas) starts to feel feverish but he insists to continue despite Alex and Abe (Carlo Aquino)’s advice, not wanting to appear as a weakling. Unfortunately, he is rushed to the hospital after passing out in the middle of the street. After the doctor’s assessment, Michael is declared unfit for the trainings due to a gastric ulcer.
Michael is sent back to the 4th Infantry Division camp in Mindanao. He acts elusive with Isabel at first, ashamed of his poor performance in the training. But Isabel makes a way to corner Michael in a market. She is not disappointed even if he got kicked out of the training. In fact, she feels happy and relieved seeing him again. Michael smiles and finally learns to look at the bright side.
Meanwhile, Yasmin (Irma Adlawan) decides to start anew using the financial assistance provided by Governor Gezali (Richard Quan). She would nurture her new found family as a promise to Saal (Sid Lucero).
