After three years, Grace (Claire Ruiz) suddenly shows up to seek Elmer (Vin Abrenica)’s forgiveness. He detests her unexpected appearance but still gives her time to explain her side. She admits having an affair with another guy in the past, prompting her to reject Elmer’s marriage proposal in front of their family and friends three years ago. But she clarifies that Alex (Gerald Anderson) wasn’t the third party, contrary to his assumption. Grace uses her loneliness to justify the mistake. Elmer gets mad at Grace’s unreasonable explanation and then walks out of the room without accepting her apology.
Elmer changes his mind and asks Grace to see him if she would really want to iron out their rift. The meeting turns into a passionate lovemaking between the ex-lovers. In the next scene, Grace tries to approach Elmer while he’s having fun with his friends in a club. Elmer stands up and says he has an important announcement to make. Grace smiles, thinking that Elmer would spill their reconciliation. But to her surprise, Elmer introduces another woman as his girlfriend. She slaps him in the face. But he doesn’t mind the little hurt compared to a raised ego he got from taking his own revenge.
However, Elmer’s game backfires at him. Grace goes to the Marasigan residence and hands Elmer a pregnancy test kit showing positive results. Clearing up Minda (Mickey Ferrols) and Dante (Rommel Padilla)’s queries, Grace confirms that she is pregnant with Elmer’s child.
