Lourd (Sue Ramirez) opens the door to Jethro (Elmo Magalona)’s room and is amused to find him working on another painting. She comments that it’s been a while since the last time he made use of his artistic skills. Jethro turns serious and begins to rant about his frustrations about Victor (Ariel Rivera)’s strictness. Again, he reiterates that joining the military wasn’t his dream but he is always trapped in saying yes to all his father’s wishes. If he only has the choice, Jethro would pursue a career in the arts. He is signing up for the Scout Rangers Training Program, as another act of obedience towards Victor.
The mood becomes lighter when Jethro teased Lourd to Alex (Gerald Anderson). Lourd denies having special feelings for Alex, citing the fraternization rules as the major reason why they couldn’t be in a relationship. Besides, she vows to never fall in love with a soldier again. But Lourd’s face suddenly turns gloomy upon learning that Alex would be away for a long time to undergo Scout Rangers Training.
Jethro teases Lourd for being affected with Alex’s slated absence in the camp. Yet, she contests his assumption. Lourd threatens to ruin Jethro’s artwork if he won’t stop acting like a matchmaker. A smile is seen on Lourd’s face as she hears Jethro call her “Mrs. Marasigan”.
