Still bothered by the Alhurajis’ death, Alex (Gerald Anderson) seeks Abe (Carlo Aquino)’s help in consulting Apo Hajid (Jerry O’Hara) in an attempt to know the truth. Apo Hajid confirms Yosef (Lito Pimentel)’s death and reveals that Hakeem’s body was never retrieved from the crime scene. Alex concludes that the youngest Alhuraji is still alive.
News about Saal (Sid Lucero)’s death reaches Victor (Ariel Rivera) and the entire 4th Infantry Division. Alex and Abe are puzzled how the killing took place suddenly. The report from Dante (Rommel Padilla)’s troop claims that the extermination happened as result of a chance encounter. Still, Alex is determined to let his father know the recent lead on Hakeem.
At the base, Alex approaches Dante reveal what he discovered about Hakeem Alhuraji. He even implies that the child might have been adopted by another family just like him. Dante gets away with the tricky situation by pivoting the conversation to another topic – the upcoming Scout Rangers training.
Later, Alex’s group talks about the program. Everyone expresses interest to join and become a Scout Ranger except Phil (Jerome Ponce); and Michael (Nash Aguas) who is still admittedly slow in map comprehension and swimming.
Meanwhile, an argument flares at Col. Fontiveros (Nor Domingo)’s office as he and Maj. Lucente (Mon Confiado) urge Dante to just get honest with Alex. But Dante refuses, saying he would never want to lose a son. Dante plans to push Alex into becoming a Scout Ranger to shun his attention from the Alhurajis.
