Driven by the desire for vengeance, Saal aka Abdul Waajid (Sid Lucero) continues to spy on Dante (Rommel Padilla), the soldier who killed his father in a skirmish. Saal listens to his wrath and forgoes Yasmin (Irma Adlawan)’s pleas to avoid violence. He shots Dante in front of the hotel he’s staying at in Mindanao; and then drives away. Fortunately, a security alerts Dante, so he managed to duck and save himself. Minda (Mickey Ferriols), on the other hand, is slightly wounded.
At the hospital, Alex (Gerald Anderson) eavesdrops on Dante’s conversation with his comrade. Dante thinks that the crime wasn’t just a random attack and that he was the assailant’s target. Alex becomes bothered by his father’s assumption.
At the camp, Alex tells Phil (Jerome Ponce) and Benjie (Yves Flores) of the things troubling his mind. Despite his buddies’ warnings, Alex pursues a secret investigation about the incident. He starts off by gathering information about Dante that may link to the suspect and justify his motives. He finds several news articles about one of Dante’s biggest triumphs as a Scout Ranger which was killing the terrorist leader, Yosef Alhuraji. Later, at the conference room, Alex leads the team in reviewing the CCTV footages taken from the crime scene. The army confirms that Abdul Waajid was the attacker. Jethro (Elmo Magalona) is puzzled about the relation between Abdul Waajid and Dante.
