“Pinaglihi ako sa grapes,” she revealed. This explains why the young actress has such round facial features. Charlie is the youngest out of all her siblings and has a degree in Human Resources Management. “Ang layo sa showbiz pero kinaya,” she boasted.

There was a time when Charlie almost became the first ever Filipino K-Pop idol. When an entertainment agency from South Korea held auditions here in the Philippines, she joined and was chosen to continue as a trainee in South Korea out of a thousand people. She even got to train with now-K-Pop star and The Soulmate Project leading lady Nancy McDonie. This was a major opportunity, but it was cut short due to problems with her visa.
