Certainly, all of us are dreaming of acquiring a property we can call our own, especially a magnificent abode we can retreat to after a tiring day. This goes the same with our beloved celebrities who spend a portion of their hard-earned money in building their dream house. And one of them is Gerald Anderson.
It’s been several years since his three-storey bachelor pad in Quezon City was built but the thrill and happiness he felt the first time he saw it seemed to have never faded, which is evident in the photos he continually shares on Instagram.
His 312-square-meter den was streamlined by Architect Noel Lardizabal Tugas and interior designer Anla Li, who really did great in reflecting Gerald’s modernity and masculinity in its overall look, from its impressive exterior to its interior bursting in colors.
It definitely mirrors the young actor’s personality – as a fanboy as shown by the framed replica of NBA superstar LeBron James’ jersey, Ironman posters and figures, and movie posters, Gerald seems not to get enough of his favorites.
Adding more brightness to his dwelling are the huge window glasses that bathe the insides with natural light. We wonder how dramatic it would be during rainy days and starry nights.
If he is too tired to go out with his barkada, hanging out in his cozy home definitely tops the options because it has a gym, a formal dining table complemented by a pair of long benches, and a spacious entertainment room perfect for binge-watching films and playing video games.
Throughout his 14-year career, the talented heartthrob who currently stars in the gripping drama A Soldier’s Heart has garnered numerous recognitions from various award-giving bodies which he displayed in a corner. Apparently, he hasn’t let go of Kimerald mementos, with framed posters of his movies with Kim Chiu and a scrapbook containing their important milestones also exhibited.
To add a more personal touch, he insisted to utilize the appliances and pieces given by his generous fans, friends, and colleagues, including Kim.
Indeed, Gerald is an inspiration to us millennials that no dream is impossible to achieve as long as we work hard for it and prioritize the things that are really vital.
