Ana’s (Julia Montes) brother in her adoptive family Jonathan “Tantan” Dimasalang (Ryle Paolo Tan) didn’t have solid friends in the beginning of Asintado’s story, until he met Charie Tamayo (Vivoree Esclito) and Gavin Calderon (CK Kieron). Their one of a kind friendship had a shaky start, but this later turned into a tight and solid bond.
Here’s how their friendship blossomed.
Charie met Gavin when she needed him—defending her from bullies. And that led to an enchanting friendship. But it was quite a different story when Tantan came into the picture. With the Dimasalangs’ deep conflict against the Del Mundos, Tantan would despise Gavin, who has close links to the vile, brutal and greedy politician Salvador del Mundo (Nonie Buencamino), being the nephew of his staunch political strategist, Miranda Ojeda (Lorna Tolentino).
When the three happened to work together in a coffee shop, it was nothing but raucous.
Getting to Know Each Other
Knowing that it would be detrimental if they’d continue being hostile to each other as co-workers, Tantan first reached out to Charie and befriended her. However, it took time before he had the will to make friends with Gavin.
Helping Out Each Other
As Gavin was facing a tough ordeal, Charie was there to cheer him up and encourage him. And when the danger became real with a kidnapping attempt on Gavin, Tantan forgot all his grudges towards him, and together, they fought off the assailants.
Being True Friends
Tantan finally realized that Gavin had nothing to do with Salvador’s transgressions. With Gavin being thankful to Tantan for helping him out, they buried the hatchet and became friends. Charie was just so happy all the three of them are okay and would become true friends from thereon.
In this Kapamilya Toplist, here are those touching scenes Charie, Gavin and Tantan showed their admirable friendship.
