The ever-funny Alex Gonzaga once again amused us with how she can incorporate her humor with the songs she has been creating.
Recently, her follow-up single to her hit dance track “Chambe” has been released. Entitled “Tipints”, it was inspired by none other than her mom Crisanta, whom she endearingly calls “Mommy Pinty.” The actress-vlogger sang her newest song on the iWant ASAP stage.
“Tipints” music video has already garnered a total of 2.3 million views as of this writing. Alex shared how Mommy Pinty disciplined her growing up. She said in an interview that when you are at the right age already, you will come to realize that the way that your mother disciplines you is her way of showing you how she cares for you.
Released last June 7 on Alex’s YouTube channel, which has 3 million subscribers, “Tipints” basically tells the story of the mother-daughter relationship of Alex and Mommy Pinty. It tells us that even though they differ a lot, at the end of the day, they really choose to show their love to one another. Directed by ex-PBB housemate, actor, and writer Fifth Solomon, the music video of “Tipints” has been one of the trending videos in YouTube Philippines.
