When you hear ASAP, you know it’s going to be a rocking party packed with the most talented artists and world-class performances. This August 29, Kapamilyas unleashed certified #TatakASAP Sunday celebration.
We could definitely relax throughout the weekend as ASAP Natin ‘To opened with “Don’t You Worry ‘Bout A Thing.” Asia’s Soul Supreme KZ Tandingan with young belter Elha Nympha amped up the energy singing “Club Can’t Handle Me”.
OPM icons Erik Santos, Jason Dy, Nyoy Volante, and King of OPM Ogie Alcasid continued the momentum by singing the Smash Mouth hit “I'm A Believer”. Adding a bit of groove in the air, sweetheart singers Janine Gutierrez, Gigi de Lana, Lara Maigue, and Divine Diva ZsaZsa Padilla delivered their rendition “Boogie Wonderland”.
Birit Queen Klarisse de Guzman shook the crowd with iDolls trio Lucas Garcia, Matty Juniosa, and Enzo Almario belting “Shake Your Pompom”. Sensational singers Angeline Quinto, Sheena Belarmino, and Jed Madela spiced up the party with their performance of “Holding out for a Hero”. On cue, Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez-Alcasid emerged to serve her thrilling rendition of “Can’t Stop the Feeling”.
Since we’re talking about quality talent, featuring the network's hottest Star Magic artists is no surprise. Huwag Kang Mangamba star Andrea Brillantes shows off her smoking dance skills in a sizzling performance of “Señorita.” Following her with another dance performance were skilled Star Magic ladies and gentlemen, Francine Diaz, Belle Mariano, Karina Bautista, Sheena, Kyle Echarri, Donny Pangilinan, Aljon Mendoza, and Enchong Dee.
ASAP’s very own New Gen Birit Divas also showcased their purely magical voices. Sheena, Lara, Gigi, and Elha performed remarkable renditions of the favorite Pinoy songs “Binibini”, “Ulap”, “Kathang Isip”, and “Tilaluha.”
After witnessing such a transcendent ensemble, we are kept on the edges of our seats with the concert-like experience served by total performers The Voice Kids alumni Kyle, global pop sensation Iñigo, Mr. Pure Energy, Gary Valenciano. The multitalented stars gave a groovy performance of Gary V’s “That’s Why”.
In celebration of Pinoy talent in the international scene, ASAP singers performed harmonious covers of music from Fil-Am singer-songwriters H.E.R. and Olivia Rodrigo. The nation’s top singers Jed, Kyla, KZ, Nyoy, Jason, Bugoy, CJ Navato, and Klarisse beautifully blended “Driver’s License” and “Best Part” with powerful emotions.
The variety show’s New Breed of Singers also bared their magnificent voices with a grand performance. KD Estrada, Diego Gutierrez, Sam Cruz, Anji Salvacion, and Angela Ken delivered an outstanding collab with This Band singing the band’s songs, “Sinungaling Ka” and “Wala Ka Nang Magagawa.”
Featuring the rise of P-Pop, the country’s premier girl group BINI graced the ASAP stage with their show stopping singing and moves. All the eight girls shined as they performed KZ’s “Imposible.”
Asia’s Pop Heartthrob Darren Espanto pulled on our heartstrings as he performed “Dulo'' with the pop rock band that created the song, The Juans. Emotions continued to overflowing as the next performers, Kyla and iDolls, delivered Kyla’s newly composed song “Beautiful Days”.
To uplift the mood and inject more energy to the afternoon party, dancing hotties Maris Racal, Vivoree Esclito, Jin Macapagal, Jameson Blake, Jeremy Glinoga, and Joao Constancia bopped TikTok trending dances.
An extraordinary duet followed as Rock Royalty Bamboo sang “Ain't No Sunshine” with the grand champion of Your Face Sounds Familiar Season 3, Klarisse. KZ stole the spotlight as she put her Visayan song “Dodong” center stage.
It wouldn’t be ASAP without The Greatest Showdown to close the show. For this #TatakASAP episode, King of OPM Ogie, Queen of Hugot Songs Moira, Divine Diva Zsa Zsa Padilla, King of Theme Songs Erik Santos, and Asia’s Songbird Regine sang powerful songs of hope and love.
