It was a mega afternoon party in the November 14 episode of ASAP Natin ‘To. Stellar performers and special star guests came together to have the ultimate Pinoy kantahan and sayawan in celebration of FPJ’s Ang Probinsyanos 6th anniversary on Philippine television.
An OPM rock fest ensued on the grand ASAP stage. Biriteras Elha Nympha, Sheena Belarmino and Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez unleashed their street style singing “Laki Sa Layaw.” Dancers Loisa Andalio, Charlie Dizon, and Jameson Blake joined them after with their spunky moves.
King of Theme Songs Erik Santos and iconic trio iDolls (Lucas Garcia, Matty Juniosa, and Enzo Almario) showed off their bad-boy style as they sang “Titser’s Enemi No. 1.”
Following these boys, the Divine Diva Zsa Zsa Padilla with top singers Angeline Quinto and Lara Maigue entered with their sharp looks and phenomenal voices. As they belted “Bonggahan,” dance royalties Maymay Entrata and AC Bonifacio were a jaw-dropping grooving duo.
OPM King Ogie Alcasid with singing sensations Klarisse de Guzman and Janine Berdin rocked their hearts out performing “No Touch.” Giving the stage overflowing macho were male singers Jason Dy, Sam Concepcion, and Darren Espanto. Accompanying their performance of “Macho Gwapitos,” dancing hotties Ronnie Alonte, Jeremy Glinoga, Joao Constancia, and Jin Macapagal entered as right on cue.
Elevating the energy through the roof, Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano returns to the ASAP stage. As expected, he gave an electrifying performance of the Pinoy rock anthem by Sampaguita, “Nosi Balasi.”
Getting right to the anniversary party of FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano, we were treated to exciting performances. The all-star cast of the longest-running action teleserye invaded the stage with their popping moves to the latest trending music. Right after, New Gen Birit Singers Janine Berdin, Reiven Umali, Sheena, Anthony Castillo, Lara, Sam Mangubat, Elha, and JM Yosures delivered moving duets of kilig-filled OPM songs whilst reminiscing Cardo Dalisay’s great love and leading ladies.
Of course, the thrilling special wouldn’t be complete if the man who plays Cardo Dalisay didn’t perform. Since Coco Martin also celebrated his birthday recently, he offered us a back-to-back performance. With Bassilyo and Smugglaz, the one and only Coco Martin led the trio’s manly song and dance performance of Hagibis’ greatest hits. Right after, Coco was joined by his on-screen love team Julia Montes to serenade us with a heartwarming duet. With adoration in their eyes while looking at each other, they sang the sweet song “‘Yun Ka.”
The newest ka-Probinsyano Megastar Sharon Cuneta also graced the ASAP stage and sang the teleserye’s theme songs “Huwag Ka Nang Umiyak” and “Ililigtas Ka Niya” with ASAP icons Gary, Ogie, Jed Madela, and Erik. As a final tribute, Asia’s Songbird Regine performed the newest theme song “’Di Ka Nag-Iisa.”
