On iWant ASAP, host Maymay Entrata opens the stage with a bombastic performance of the latest dance craze titled “Banana Chacha”. It is a collaboration between the K-pop girl group MOMOLAND and the animated television series Pororo the Little Penguin, which was created by a company based in Seoul, South Korea back in 2013.
“Banana Chacha” is a cheerful and catchy theme song that tells us how everyone in the family can love yummy bananas and how it can make us go dancing with its delicious taste. MOMOLAND released the non-album single last April 2019 and revealed the adorable choreography, which Pororo and his friends have learned as well.
Maymay is an avid fan of Korean pop music. It is always clear how much she enjoys performing K-pop dance numbers, alone or with her love team/iWant ASAP co-host Edward Barber, and how she is always game to give us the K-pop thrill we all love to crave for.
Recently, she had a birthday dance number with Edward, bopping to Jimin of BTS’ solo track “Serendipity”, and thrilled us as well with her solo performance of BLACKPINK’s hit single “Kill This Love”.
