iWant ASAP hosts Maymay Entrata, Robi Domingo, Darren Espanto, and Edward Barber had a virtual reunion with their former ASAP Chillout co-host Markus Paterson during her appearance on the online show recently to promote his album and perform one of his newest songs “Best Wishes”.
Thus, apart from merely letting him promote his new music, that guesting also served as some sort of catching up with him, who’s been staying in United Kingdom for some months now. And since it’s too obvious how over the moon Markus is right now based on the blinding beam he wore throughout his stint, they asked what the current state of his heart is.
“Masaya. I mean there’s nothing that can make me happier right now. People who are in love know what I am talking about. I’ve never thought that I’ll be in this position, I’ve never thought that I’ll be here, but I am. I’ve never thought that I’ll be in this position where I can share that, share what I’m feeling through my lyrics and songs,” he expressed.
They then asked him if he’s currently living alone, to which he replied smitten, “Hindi. Of course, kasama ko ang pamilya ko at ang future wife ko,” making the four hosts apparently kilig.
When asked by Robi what are his wishes with her “future wife”, whose name he didn’t mention but we’re all aware who she is, he simply said, “She is my wish, it came true. I don’t know. When you’re so happy, you can’t exactly just want more.”
With regards to his music, Markus revealed that he’s been writing songs for five to six years now and glad that they all finally materialized in this record through the help of his record label Tarsier Records.
