A powerhouse concert was unleashed on ASAP Natin ‘To’s #ASAPconcertspecial episode on July 10. The country’s stellar performers served rocking ensembles and collabs to pack the afternoon party.
The celebration was opened by none other than the Concert King himself, Martin Nievera, along with young divas Janine Berdin and Sheena Belarmino, who sang “Let Me Entertain You”.
OPM King Ogie Alcasid with Power Diva Angeline Quinto and Soul Diva Kyla then performed “Come On Feel the Noise”, before Dancefloor Sweetheart Maymay Entrata took over with her stunning moves.
King of Teleserye Theme Songs Erik Santos, along with rising stars Lara and Fana, entered the stage singing “Walk This Way”, prompting hataw hotties Jameson Blake, Edward Barber, Vivoree Esclito, and Krystal Brimner to show off their smooth dance moves.
A rock fest ensued as Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, Divine Diva Zsa Zsa Padilla, and handsome singers Kyle Echarri and Jeremy Glinoga performed “Sweet Child of Mine”.
Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano kept the energy high with his performance of “Eye of the Tiger”, with singing sweethearts Alexa Ilacad, Belle Mariano, and Anji Salvacion. Andrea Brillantes also joined in the fun with her awesome solo dance choreo.
The ASAP family closed the opening segment with “The Final Countdown."
An unexpected concert collab awaited viewers next. Regine was joined by supreme actress and talented singer Lovi Poe. The pair beautifully sang the classic songs “You Were There”, “Just Don’t Want to Be Lonely”, and “Bluer Than Blue” together.
The hottest Star Magic artists went beyond the stars with their spectacular Camilla Cabello-themed performances. Singer-songwriters Angela Ken, Sab, and Janine B serenaded with the pop star’s “Havana.” Breakout musical love team KDLex (KD Estrada and Alexa Ilacad) then gave an overdose of kilig with their duet of “Beautiful”. Finally, to close the segment with fiery passion, Queen of the Dancefloor Kim Chiu with dancing beauties Maymay, Belle, and Andrea grooved to “Don’t Go Yet”.
The crowd was given major concert feels as mesmerizing divas Kyla, Nina, Angeline, and Zsa Zsa rendered Moira’s hugot hits “Malaya” and “Paubaya.”
The Queen of Hugot Moira herself appeared on the ASAP stage and offered her new single “Dito Ka Lang”, which is also the theme song of the new ABS-CBN series “Flower Of Evil.” After her performance, its lead star and ultimate leading man Piolo Pascual thanked all the fans and supporters of the show.
The day’s concert experience wouldn’t be complete without P-Pop sensation BGYO. The charming boys melted hearts with their song and dance performance of “Pasa Diyos”.
A sweet serenade was offered next by the dashing male singers of ASAP. Martin, Ogie, Gary, Erik, Kyle, Jason, Nyoy, Jeremy, and iDolls trio Lucas Garcia, Matty Juniosa, and Enzo Almario soothed the afternoon with James Ingram’s hits, namely, “One Hundred Ways,” “I Don't Have a Heart,” “There's No Easy Way,” and “Just Once”.
Asia’s Soul Supreme KZ Tandingan treated the ASAP homies to a grand live performance of her newest single “Winning”. Rock royalty Bamboo, on the other hand, presented a must-see concert collab with rising superstar EZ Mil when they sang Harry Styles’ song, “Late Night Talking."
The Greatest Showdown put together the country’s best music icons with the Next Gen Birit Idols for a special concert finale. Gary V and Sheena performed a moving rendition of “The Gift”, while Zsa Zsa and Reiven Umali delivered an applause-worthy performance of “I Finally Found Someone." Ogie and Lara then stole the spotlight of their “How Could an Angel Break My Heart” duet before Angeline and Sam Mangubat wowed the crowd with their singing of “Destiny”. Erik and breakout singer Gigi De Lana gave a stellar performance of “I Want To Spend My Lifetime Loving You," while Regine and JM Yosures powerfully closed the extravaganza with “Whenever You Call”.
