Rain or shine, the party doesn’t stop on ASAP Natin 'To. At this weekend’s #ASAPfreedom, everyone got
to let loose and dance out with no inhibitions.
The ASAP family proudly showed off world-class Pinoy talent in shining colors of red and blue to join in
the celebration of the country’s Independence Day. Top biriteras Angeline Quinto, Klarisse De Guzman,
and Regine Velasquez-Alcasid started it off singing “Turn The Beat Around”. This was soon followed by
blazing song and dance performance of “Fireball” by The Voice Of The Philippines alumni Darren
Espanto and Kyle Echarri. Right after, dancing beauties AC Bonifacio, Vivoree Esclito, and Maymay
Entrata entered the stage with grooving to “Cuarentena”.
The celebration continued with male singing idols Martin Nievera, Erik Santos, and Jason Dy singing
“Calle Ocho” and Kapamilya cuties Robi Domingo, Donny Pangilinan, Edward Barber, Joao Constancia,
and Jameson Blake dancing “Mi Gente”.
OPM idol Ogie Alcasid, along with Divine Diva Zsa Zsa Padilla and young singers Sheena Belarmino and
Elha Nympha added more life to the weekend with their rendition of “Rhythm Is Gonna Get You”.
Queen of the Dancefloor Kim Chiu and hottie Enchong Dee stole the crowd after with their pumped up
performance of “Taki-taki.” Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano and young divas Janine Berdin and
Zephanie Dimaranan close the opening performance singing “We Are One” with the rest of the ASAP
family.
It was an ultimate kilig fest as love teams CrizJo (Criza Taa and Joao Constancia), KaoRhys (Kaori Oinuma
and Rhys Miguel), DonBelle (Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano), and MayWard (Maymay Entrata and
Edward Barber) performed sweet serenades for each other.
Newest Kapamilya Jayda performed a magnificent debut of “M.U. (Malabong Usapan) on the ASAP
stage during #ASAPfreedom. Another celebratory performance was prepared by Asia’s Soul Siren Nina,
Songbird Regine, and Tawag Ng Tanghalan stars Elaine Duran and Gigi De Lana. With excitement for the
re-opening of Broadway, the country’s divas sang a medley of iconic Broadway music.
NewGen Dance Princess AC Bonifacio and Maris Racal gave us amazing samples of some viral K-Pop
music. Enchong, Joao, Jameson, Kyle, Darren, and Christian Bables also join in the showdown with their
“Bang Bang Bang” dance-off.
Queen of the Dancefloor Kim and Dancefloor Sweetheart Maymay served a popping girl power
performance before the ultimate P-Pop girl group BINI graced the stage. The talented girls danced and
sang their latest and trending song, “Born to Win”.
Next Gen Divas Elha, Janine, Sheena, and Zephanie each brought fresh sounds to the hit songs, “Love
Someone”, “Lay Me Down”, “Someone You Loved”, and “You Are The Reason”.
The ASAP stage turned into a Your Face Sounds Familiar fest as some of the Season 3 contestants and
mentors transformed into iconic singers and sang their classic songs. Vivoree appeared as Diana Ross,
Klarisse as “Patti LaBelle”, and the iDolls (Lucas Garcia, Matty Juniosa, and Enzo Almario) with Nyoy
Volante and Jed Madela as Jackson 5.
ASAP’s world-class singing icons Divine Diva Zsa Zsa, Mr. Pure Energy Gary V, King of OPM Ogie, Concert
King Martin, and Asia’s Songbird Regine delivered remarkable performances one by one for The
Greatest Showdown. The group closed the performance with their harmonious singing of “Ikaw
Lamang.”
